Visit the troglodyte dwellings of Belvès
Belvès has many historic monuments. If you are passionate about history or culture, visiting Belvès is a must.
Among the tourist sites, we strongly recommend visiting the troglodyte dwellings. These underground homes were occupied from the 13th to the 18th centuries by commoners. During your visit, you will discover the history of their inhabitants and their daily life.
With its 8 furnished rooms, you can explore the entire site (allow around 45 minutes). The site is open every day, including public holidays.
